As well as bringing you some top music, we’ve put some thought into organising some fun and lovely workshops to keep you all entertained and all we ask for in return is a small cash charity donation.

Please bear in mind that our workshops will be on a first come first served basis and some are weather permitting.

Times and locations will be advertised at the festival.

Casual Open Mic

Want to have  a go at Open Mic? Whether you are singer or musician, poetry reader or comedian, come along to our Tipi in the Woods with your instrument of choice and give your fellow festivalers some entertainment. Or if you’d prefer, just chill out and have a listen. There will be a basic set up with just a microphone for vocals and we will have a board so you can sign up to play when you want.

Get Jammin'

Head along to our hang out space ‘The Nest’ and get jammin’. Bring along your own instruments and have a spontaneous collaboration or rummage through our box of basic instruments and get noisy!

Pizza Making with The Beats & Base Pizza Place

Join the The Beats & Base Pizza Place for their authentic Italian pizza making workshop. This deliciously fun workshop is for all ages and will offer you hands on experience of making your own pizza. What’s more- you get to each your delicious project at the end!

Star Gazing with Paul

Dorset, with it’s clear night skies and low levels of light pollution, is an ideal place for star gazing. So, why not take the opportunity to discover the constellations and planets of the universe with our backyard enthusiast, Paul, who will be running a fabulous star gazing workshop.

All you will need to bring along are a pair of binoculars and, if possible, a walking stick (to avoid motion blur). Please note that this workshop is weather permitting.

And if you want to check out what will be in the skies beforehand, you can take a look here:

Vocal Training and Sing Along Workshop with Izzy

Come along and join our resident musician Izzy (aka Character) at 'The Nest' for a fun workshop for people of all ages. The workshop will begin with some vocal training followed by a group sing along with some well-known songs.

Late Night Cinema

After a long day of music, why not wind down with some nostalgic late night screenings in our cinema marquee. With comfy seating, 'The Nest' is the perfect place to chill out with a drink and spend quality time with your new festival friends!
